That would get my vote too. You could even get them just to do in an agreeable run out colour of a production run they are doing. Getting it shot blasted will get a great finish, you will have a real gem on your hands then.

Noise is the primary. I have the standard blue one, it's great, but my god it makes some noise!!! I think the black has some noise cancelling, which if you are close to neighbours or your sanity if you are doing for a while then a little less ear bleeding helps.

Anybody know any waterbased finishes that can go through the HVLP. I have the Wickes gloss, and it's not bad, but any others? The ideal way is a black with clear coat, but I understand for paint purposes there is NO clear coat available. So that leaves some more scary chemicals to look at...
