    Precision Miter Gauge System

As Roger says the SCMS if the timber fits and you have the support I also have the Incra V27 mitre gauge where you have to make your own fence but costs £49 which is cheaper than the £129 with a fence attached.

New workshop from scratch - need design ideas

This is getting as bad as The Aussie site - there was a thread about who had the biggest workshop. Some of the largest were bigger than a good few houses in the UK - it raged for weeks - boys and their toys. Then some bright spark started a thread on who had the smallest(workshop) - not too many...

    Free To A Good Home-Cyclone

It will work best with a 2HP extractor. A 6" hose from your extractor to the top of the cyclone and connect 4" pipe to the inlet on the side.

    Free To A Good Home-Cyclone

Philly I knew you were a bad boy - where is the 1.6 to 1 cone to body ratio . Why is your inlet ramp at 90 degrees to the cyclone body? Did you build an air ramp? Don't use gaffer tape use PVA glue and spray it with hammer finish paint - it looks if you welded it. Oh well - it will work...

    Blastgates - plastic or aluminium?

I used the Charnwood ones at £6.50 (plastic). Some leak when closed - you hear a hiss from them with the 3HP motor going. I used about 10 and felt the the aluminium ones cost too much. Barry
