    Which Mortiser...?

James, Adam and Tom have the Perform mortiser and I've used it once before. If your thinking that the Perform will be like Norm's mortiser then maybe you should look for one in a slightly higher price range. Don't get me wrong the Perform can cut accurate mortises but only in its own pace, you...

    Knock-down fittings

I agree that sometimes KD furniture is the only way. It not just getting the a big item in the house it’s (as doughnut pointed out) getting it up the stairs or through a door which you didn't account for when planning: evil: Chris have you ever heard of "beadLOCK" I've done a review on it...

    What Drill Press...?

Doughnut you can't compare budget tools to industrial macines, of course a £2000 table saw will do a better job then a £200 one  The reviews James has done for UKWorkshop are of budget tools that he's bought. They all do the job they were designed to do, well and with them he's made...

I think separate machines are the way to go too. I’ve just bought my first table saw - a Sheppach TS2000 and highly recommend it (I’ll soon be adding a review to the review section) but costs £700 including the base and folding width extension so that will be all your money gone :( If...

    T-slot bolts

The only Tslot fixings I've seen for sale are for use with a T slot metal track which you can get from Axminter on this page. If you do want bolts for use with slots created by a keyhole cutter you might be best making your own using a square nut which fits in the bottom part of the slot, a...
