The CT330 is a good choice. If you haven't already read my review click on the following link https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/review/review.php?id=29 I agree with Adam and Aragorn, a dust extractor is a must! I'll be buying the Scheppach HA2600 when I move. There are alot of happy owners on this...

    B&Q Table Saw

The TS 2000 is very portable. As Adam says you can just buy the saw on it's own and make a custom base or you could buy the base and wheel kit. If need be you could also just take the saw off it's base once you've finished using it. It just unclips then the base folds up.

    B&Q Table Saw

Hi Mark, I'm not sure what your budget is and I know this is a big leap from £59.99 but for a decent compact saw I recommend the Scheppach TS2000 - https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/review/review.php?id=21 very accurate and the side extensions fold down for storage. The package I got cost me just...

Did anyone go to Ally Pally this year? I went on friday and met James (Sawdustalley). We had a good look around but I didn't buy anything interesting. We saw David Free's (great british woodshop) compact kitchen diner at the Jet stand, it was impressive - no gaps that we could spot :wink...

    Introduction to Shellac

While I am certainly no expert at furniture finishing, I thought I would share with you my favorite method of finishing wood. I find the finish part of wood working to be the most relaxing and rewarding part of my hobby .I do not like to stain wood if I can help it, nor do I like the look and...

    Some helpful advice please

Eric welcome to the forums, Have you looked at the Record 24X Starter kit? It comes with the lathe, 3 tools and a video and all for under £200. The only drawback so I've been told is that if you get really into turning you can out grow the lathe. http://www.recordpower.co.uk/DisplayPro ...
