    Which of these two routers...?

Even though it's way above your first budget I recommend the PC 7529 as well. I've had mine for a few years now and it's still going strong. Great under the table and great for hand held use as well :) Another router I would recommend is the Dewalt 625EK, 2000W and only £240 -...

Importing power tools from USA, has anyone here done it?

I've put importing a fixed based router on hold for the moment as I'm planning on getting a Dewalt 625EK first. As you can see from the thread I started the two main problems people brought up was using a 60hz router in a UK 50hz power supply and of course the customs charges. Please remember I...

Circular saws and routers - safety.

As Neil says as you've been put of in the passed by a Csaw and if you don't think you’re very confident in using one I must recommend that you get the training before you do. If you don't fancy training, make lots of practice cuts, just take your time and soon you should get used to the tool...

    Virus problem?

Hi, I'm not 100% sure why this has happened. To my knowledge the only time when a normal html or php file shows up as a *virus* is when they have dodgy javascript in (the sort that doesn't let you close your browser.) and I can assure you that there arn't. I've even disabled it so no member can...

Correcting an out of line 10" saw blade ?

lol what great advice. I'll remember that just incase I ever need to adjust my saw  Do you mind telling us the brand of your tablesaw? So other members can stay clear? If you have problems moving the table or the motor you could try setting the fence out of sqaure to match the balde.

Correcting an out of line 10" saw blade ?

If it's that bad and new I would send it back for a replacement/upgrade or even contact them for info on how to fix it.

    Improve those platic mitre guages

I cured this problem on my mitre gauge for the router table by sticking a thin strip of veneer with double sided sticky tape then sanded it till the fit was perfect.
