    Generator transfer switch

I have a very old generator, hardly used. I bought it for the supposed 'end of the world year of midnight 1999 into 2000'. I occasionally run it ( ??every 2yrs about 30mins) and try to keep petrol out of it and sometimes change the oil for a new lot. Petrol for the lawn mower is always...

    Bench mounted led magnifier

I have had a similar model in black for 10++years . I have fixed it to my ceiling joist over my work bench. When I need it I just pull the magnifier glass down and then push it up out of the way....BTW after 10 ++yrs it benefits from a bungy (rope) to hold it up and fully out of the way.

    Joke Thread II

No relevance or association ever in these matters. Pizza procedures could quickly be shown to be logical by most men. Understanding women is taking somewhat longer.

Similar thought process; a painter/decorator friend of mine decades ago told me " I don't let prospective clients visit my house, if they saw my house they wouldn't employ me".

Hi Adam Can staircase lifts be adapted for different staircase angles and lengths. BTW 1. staircase lift is my 2nd choice of solutions, it may be impossible in my case and comes way behind a 'through the floor lift' 2. BUT do I design/buy a one person lift or one for a wheelchair 3. or do I...

    Home Lift

Thanks AJS I am a retired fireman with a lot of years as a senior officer and a bit of home office commitment. You are correct about fire transfer but in our home it can be correctly solved; indeed my solution would improve fire containment. AND I agree with and thank you again for supporting...
