Andy,
the model I have is the SGS 69L02 & according to the catalogue spec has a db rating of 47db that they describe as "extremely quite". A fact with which, as I said before, I agree with.
A db of 44, therefore, must be almost inaudible

If an Oz woodwork forum is mentioned in passing than it probably refers to www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au
A quick search found this

with a link to the this patent
It all looks very straight forward  It's a shame that I leave on...
I know there is still a long way to go but this mornings cricket - so far - has put a smille on my face with a michelle for Monty. What chance he scores a fifty as well?
I do hope England can make a show of it.

Gill nice idea, I expect that the paint efect looks better "live" with light reflecting of the metallic paint than it does in a still photo.
Looking forward to seeing the intended piece.

Nice Job HS,
Hugs and Kisses is all I ever get
What hinges did you use? as there are none visible, and will you add handles or is there a push to open magnetic catch in there?
Andy
Excellant Robin,

Hope you will share with us your kitchen build.
Andy

Andy
Colin, shame about the box but I expect you can recover it if even the box becomes a little smaller.
The only time I have cut splines in mitred corners I used the TS (without guard nor riving knife  ) I cut a lump of 4x2 at 45 degrees then held the box to the block and pushed the whole...
