Thanks. I have used before with great success but heard it went off really quickly. I have a half used pot which has been two months odd and I wanted to check it would be ok as long as the powder was not lumpy. Seemed to work out great. Much better than the fact I'd put my tails on the front...

To late for you then, however for others who need plasterboard for regs, but want to be able to screw stuff easily, I used formacell in my house. More expensive however will take a wood screw with no plugs, no problem. Also has better noise dampening quality. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

Now I have power proper to my shop I have discovered that my large number of sockets (10 UK and 10 Italian) have all gone instantly and I have multipliers in nearly all of them. Fortunately I already planned to put socket extensions under wall cabinets for example for things like cordless tool...

I now have mine connected to a dedicated 16A plug, rather than an extension lead from building site power supply. It starts quicker and with less groan, so definitely an improvement. It may be worth installing it on a rubber mat to absorb some vibration noise - it's pretty hard to move once...

Thanks everyone. I put pva all over both surfaces and a bead of colored silicon on the edge and that seemed to work well. There is a hairline joint with a color matched silicon so I think it's ok. I had to finish this for the plumber to attach pipes to my sink, finish electrics, and learn...
