Looks interesting Sean. Assuming your dovetails are through, bear in mind that when you put a finish on, the end grain will colour darker than the rest of the table. A light coat of sanding sealer should stop that, unless of course you want the contrasting effect. Dom

That was before colour was applied. Then I applied the wrong colour :cry: and have now stripped it and applied the new colour, varnish goes on tomorrow. Dom

It'll be painted then sealed inside a glass fronted case and yes he can do similar in hardwood, I've also seen an example he has done in a breeze block

This was before a colour and finish had been applied, somehow I prefer furniture in it's unfinished state. The piece has been made to match existing furniture in the clients room, which they had purchased some 25 years previously and looked as if it had just left the showroom. Dom
