Can't you use a very high number abbrasive to get the fine sanding on the 5mm orbit leaving you the option to benefit from the aggresive sanding when needing to strip? I mean would you really not get the same quality fine sanding with the 5mm orbit...

    I got the price list today. So there are 3 random orbital sanders, one of extra fine finish, one for harder material removal and an intermediate. The prices are from €210 to €304+ VAT, there 2 options each time where you get he systainer with it or not. Sorry my last mail was a little off...

    Thanks scrit for the info. I got some plastic stuff, not even sure it's really perspex and I was planning to attempt a jig the those heittich hinges. I'll give it a shot this evening, it's only a small rectangle :roll:

    Thanks Alf, indeed I have come to the conclusion that the most important part is the distance from the edge of the door to drill the 35mm hole. I'd say I'll stick to the drill press to make that hole though :wink: I'll hopefully get sorted with Scrit once I get a picture done tomorrow.
