    Workshop time...

Chris & Tony, you say you have every machinery mobile, I am just making a base for my drillpress and morticer and I am undecided on which castors to use, well where to get them at a good price  Can you tell me where you got yours, at what price and are they good and stable?

    New machinery

Hi John & Aragorn, On the subject of Planing thicknessing, I think you both have good points. But I would favor the seperate machines just like John, because it means I don't have to change over. I am too lazy  and even if apparently it doesn't take long to change it's still time...

Hi All, Before the spring comes I wanted to ask if anyone has any tips on keeping the spiders out of the workshop. I hate those buggers and the webs are a nuisance. Thanks.

    Delta 22-560 portable thicknesser

Thank you Noely. Very good information I needed. In dublin McQuillans sells the Delta (although I have to double check the model) for €445, cheaper than the DW 733 at €470. It appears to have all the requirements I would be looking for, including the disposable blades and accurate setup. I am...

    Delta 22-560 portable thicknesser

Hey Noely, Could you tell us how you find the Delta thicknesser, I don't know if you ever owned or used any other similar thicknesser but how does it compare? How are the blades on the Delta 22-560, how many? Are they resharpenable or they are disposable? Any comment would be appreciated

    Liberon Lubricating Wax

I got my hands on an electronic hygrometer for the WE, made a quick reading in the workshop and it reported 62%. Is this an acceptable humidity level ? My house to my surprise is only showing 55% in the driest room. So I guess my workshop is not doing too bad. Furthermore, I was taking a...

    Tablesaw icons

Have you got any graphics software, like Photopaint, Photoshop, etc... You could easily create an icon with one of those software and some know-how to use them. Let me know if you are stuck, I can maybe help.
