    Dust Extractor Purchase

I also have an EB dust extractor which came with the table saw. I am very happy with it. I didn't have to change the hose. Although i haven't got a planer/thicknesser yet so I haven't used the dust extractor with anything else than the table saw. Good luck in your choice.

    Making a cot!

Which sliding table saws will cross cut an 8' x 4'?

Hi all, I have the Elektra beckum pkf255 which can cross cut the 8x4 nicely. I do it all the time, however I usually at least cut the sheet in half first. Simple reason, as many have already mentioned, a sheet is too big to handle safely and my workshop wouldn't allow me. So I have made this...

    Starting out

I would certainly have suggested you buy a good tablesaw especially if you deal a lot with sheets, however seeing as you have the TS55 Festool circular saw, you are already well equipped :D I agree with JohnElliott, get the Festool multifunction table. You can then get the router table to go...

Tiling tools - question to tilers out there!

Thank you very much Pete, your information is spot on :D I see some Pocket 40 & 50 cutters on Rutlands, is this the one you have? Tom I think I would get a hand cutter, I have an angle grinder and a diamond disc for the odd angles. Although I think the problem with water going everywhere must...

Tiling tools - question to tilers out there!

Hi all, I case some of you have been or are tilers (ceramic), can anyone point to me a good professional tile cutter (you know the ones with the diamond small ring which scores the tiles ready to get snapped). Also what is the thickest tile you can score and snap with this tool or when should...

Wardrobe to accompany the chest of drawers

Hi All, You may remember the Chest of drawers I made as a changing unit for my daughter. She already has so many clothes I really need to get her some storage. So I made plans for a narrow wardrobe which will fit in the small room. Same timber, stain and finish of course. This is what it will...
