Problem locking CT 150 fence at 90 degree

Hi all, I have had very little time lately in the workshop. I have only got time to assemble my new CT 150 yesterday and before I rang any piece of timber through I got frustrated with the fence. I have set the screw stops to have the fence at 90 degree but when I lock the fence with the lever...

I totally agree with Rural, I have those books too and find them brilliant. The cherry wardrobe in this particular book is beautiful and I plan to do it in Oak.

    Sliding Compound Mitre Saw advice

Michel, Neil has the Makita LS1013 and regularly cuts mitres for frames, I think if he reads this he will confirm this is very accurate in this regard. I had a quick go at the Makita and the EB, both excellent tools and accurate. The EB is a lot quieter and I thought the makita was very noisy...

    Castors for kitchen work table

Half an inch (12mm) from the edge sounds like enough to me using a long screw in a piloted hole, you could screw at a light angle toward the center of the leg. There are 4 screws per castor right? A kitchen worktable means no one will be sitting on it. I am no professional, this is my humble...

    Dust masks

Adam, I have the airace, I find it confortable even when used for long periods. Neil, I think i should get this visor because when using the airace with my protective glasses and hear defenders I would give darth vader himself nightmares, and it's then unconfortable after a while.

    CMT verses Perform

Is the value of your purchase on the box so they just tax on that figure? Did it bring the price higher than local? I wonder if the irish post would do that?! they are not that high tech yet!
