Sold Dewalt Radial Arm Saw - Power Shop DW 125

Stolen would be more accurate at £100! Just sold mine for a lot more than that. Great bit of kit and only sold as I have acquired its big brother.

    Dovetail chisel

I have a pair of 7/16 Ashley Isles skew chisels and don't know how I'd cut dovetails (particularly half blinds) without them. They hold an edge very well.

Sold Charnwood W650 with outfeed and side tables

New to me about 3 years ago. Cost over £1000. Asking £500. Selling as I acquired a Kity 1619. Comes with a new-on ripping blade and a cross-cut blade and I may have more that will fit this (some will be freshly sharpened, some may need sharpening).

For Sale Scheppach Bassa 3 Bandsaw

Only selling as I acquired its largest brother. It has a nearly new blade installed and 2 new Tuff-Saw blades 3/16" and 3/4" from memory. I've had it from new and it's about 3 years old. Well looked after. Asking £350 - collection from S Norfolk.

Sold De Walt DW720 Radial Arm Saw c/w original stand

This saw is in excellent condition and has been loved. It comes with the original black stand and an aftermarket retraction system that is superior to the factory original. It has a newly sharpened negative rake cross-cut Freud blade and I have other blades (some straight from the sharpener...

    Bl**dy Mice

I put two bags of cattle nuts (protein based bovine supplement) in the boot of my new Audi. I dropped one off outside a field where some of my beasts were at pasture. The other remained in the Audi for 2 nights . Two days later, on starting the vehicle, the radio went to static. I selected a...

I'm delighted that my suggestion will help!

    Cutting 2" oak...

I'd be rather tempted to cut to length before ripping - would be a lot easier to handle on the t/saw! Is there a reason this won't work?

Post a photo of the last thing you made

Three walnut picture frames with maple splines, finished with two coats of wiped on sanding-sealer and a couple of coats of beeswax. Not very challenging but fun (and fiddly).

Post a photo of the last thing you made

Here's a tapered-leg, bow-fronted console table in oak. Drawers are traditional dovetails.

How terribly, terribly sad - post #1 and #17.

Withdrawn Dewalt DW720 Radial Arm Saw £500 - Collected

Just for the sake of good order - the DW720 has a 250mm blade, the 721 throws a 300mm blade and the arm is longer on the DW721 as well.

Retrofitting a Hammer spiral cutter head

I'm with Jones - when I ordered mine last year, Russell at Felder (Milton Keynes) was adamant that it was a factory install and could not be done retrospectively. Absolutely love the finish I get from mine with the spiral block (Silent Power).

    Dissassembling Union Graduate for transportation

I fitted a 30" UG (in 3 parts) into the back of my VW Amarok. Just two of us to get it in and I got it out on my own. Heavy but it can be easily done!

    New Planer/thicknesser

I've just taken delivery (3 weeks ago) of a Hammer A3/31 with a Silent Power cutter-block. I'm delighted with it. I must admit the extra 2" of cut is useful for me as I seem to finish lots of boards at 150 and join them.
