    Perfect corners

Why do you need square corners? Just round off the mating parts to match. Alternatively, find a router bit with a diameter of 0mm.

Router table - depth of cut

I guess it's easier to move the fence.

    Who said workbenches weren't sexy?

Excuse my ignorance, but who on earth IS Mr Schwarz?

    Poor man's Joint Master?

Yes, many thanks from me also! John

    Poor man's Joint Master?

I'll second that request. It strikes me that, with an indexing arrangement, this could be an ideal way to cut slots for frets in a fingerboard. From another thread, here's an early version(scroll down to page 150)...

Delta 2 speed scroll saw for sale.

It's a 40-560. The flexible drive shaft screws into the outboard end of the motor, which apparently runs at 1490 or 920 RPM. Anyway, I finally got round to listing it on ebay. John

    Sipa bandsaw?

When all you have is an 8' by 12' shed, then yes, there is such a thing as too big.

    Sipa bandsaw?

Anyone know anything about this make/model bandsaw? I think it's too big for me, although I'm on the lookout. The annoying thing is that it's really local(probably about half a mile away)! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270560436206&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

    Poor man's Joint Master?

I have seen the original, a month or two ago. I am still impressed by your version, however!

    For Sale Rojek Planer/Thicknesser 310

If I buy a used car, does the same thing apply re. warranty? I'm sure digit is correct, but it still sounds like a rip-off to me!

    Long thin ellipse

OK, I saved the video on my computer, it's a .WMV file and it's around 20mB. Sadly, I can't find it on the internet, or I'd post a link. I've no idea if it's possible to attach a .WMV file to a posting here, but I'd be happy email it to you. John

    Long thin ellipse

I cut a couple of elipses a few years back using a method I found somewhere on the web(I can't find it now!). Basically, you make your own jig that works in almost the same way as the cruciform offerings from Trend etc.: Attach a trammel to the router. Screw a couple of ball-races to the...

Delta 2 speed scroll saw for sale.

Delta 2 speed scroll saw for sale.

Hi, I have a Delta 2 speed scroll saw that I am thinking of selling on ebay(I haven't used it once in 3 years), but I thought I'd offer it here first. If anyone's interested I'll take some photos... I'm in Thames Ditton, Surrey. John

    Throat plate/zero clearance insert material(again)

I am considering making a zero clearance insert for my old EB flipover saw. The insert is 4mm thick, which does't sound like much, but the unsupported area is tiny. Anyway, which do you think would be more suitable, polycarbonate(Lexan) or acetal...
