    bending ply

Thanks everyone, I have started working on making more formers (male and female), unfortunately I have run out of ply so the project will have to wait. I have got some bendy ply but it isn’t dense enough for the speakers as they need to be rigid and dead to knock on. Thanks P111dom, I haven’t...

    woodworm in my ply

Many thanks, the wood did have the a few small flight holes, so I have no idea how many more flies could be left in the wood? I am making a pair of hi-fi speakers so will be indoors. table saw

Thanks all. Just to let you know, it is the fence and like Digit pointed out the fence needs to be moved in a certain direction to get it parallel, for me it is from left to right. Is there a decent after sales fence I can purchase that will get over this problem?

    table saw

Hello all. Can someone help? Why when I try cutting wood on my table saw does it start moving away from the fence creating a not so straight edge. Is there something wrong with my technique or is it the table? The table is a 10 inch cast-iron SIP. All comments gratefully excepted.

    spray lacquer

Hello all I seam to have struck a problem: after spraying around six coats of lacquer on my peace of work one side has started to delaminate in places, I assume this is because the first layer didn’t go down wet. Should I peal everything off and start again or is here a way of making good...

Iv got a garage with two openings which I usually get a good through draft through, I also wear a respirator with a gas vapour filter, which seems to work well. I have inquired about the water based lacquers but fiddes, the most local suppliers, said that it isn’t as durable as the cellulose...
