    Anima - Box WIP

I really wish I could help with a plane the box looks great. I was wondering if you would have to somehow strengthen the joins but I suppose the lid ends will provide suitable support. As you can guess I am quite new to woodworking but have just started making boxes so am very interested in what...

    Tormek 7 and 2000

They had one on the shelf that was incomplete, after much deliberation I bought it with a 10% discount, only thing missing was a basic sharpening guide. One went on Ebay yesterday second hand for the same price I paid at Elmers. They are a good bunch of guys at Elmers.

    Planer Thicknesser dilema

Thanks for the advice and personal opinions, which are all very constructive, I do have some hand planes inherited from my father-in-law and will put them to good use (after some practice). I also looked on Ebay and and apart from collection from long distances and 3 phase P/T's not much to look...

    Planer Thicknesser dilema

I have read loads of threads about planer thicknessers and planers and thicknessers. I know that you only get what you pay for and in this day and age we can't afford to pay a lot, everyone expects more for less. I am returning to woodworking after many years and now think I require a P/T or P...
