    what size single Phase motor sugestion for table saw?

    Anybody got any Ideas of what size motor I should fitting to my second user 10" Table saw project!? Its going to run on domestic 240volt electric supply hard woods mainly cut 2" thick and needs to be quite quiet, induction Size? Model? amps? watts? cost? retailer?

    just a quick question, are the clamps your using from rutlands (dakota) if they are what do you think of them? I used to have the same doors just the same and had to do just the same as you have (make one) except only had one door to make and it was quite a bit of fun making it, well done...

    Thanks for input, good idea about the tail vice, there is a reason for not putting the vice on the right side and a series of dogs in the bench which will be reviled in the next couple of updates, that might interest you, I'll update this as soon as I get round to finding more time do do more...
