    Britain's Best Woodworker

My daughter sat through it last night ( I made her though as a yoooth she was multi-tasking between the show and tiktok/snapchat/whatever ) and she now thinks that all woodworkers are freaks and couldn't get her head round the concept of someone called Misti who looks like a wrestler with a deep...

    Britain's Best Woodworker

Well aside from the fact that finally something for me to watch than the guff my OH makes me watch. I can't be critical at all about the level of expertise or craftsmanship because all of the contestants could beat me hands down on skill ( well maybe not tim :p ) so I won't judge them on...

Hi Peter, many thanks for the reply and avid subscriber of your videos (y). As mentioned it was your take on the various models of bench top ones that got me thinking and then your latest one that popped up was the one that made me look at their site again. Hopefully the new model coming is even...

Thank you steve, I agree with what you said and now I just need to wait for it to come back into stock. Obviously when these global shipping shortages resolve themselves it may arrive. In no rush .

Aldi Bandsaw ( new model) coming soon. Buy it or choose other model

Thanks, it was his video that prompted me to have a look at their site as he mentioned they were coming soon. I will have another look at the specs between the three re your comments about throat size. Being a novice to bandsaws, assume that is depth from back of the bed ( fence ) to blade ?

Carry sheet goods on car roof

Been there done that and have to laugh about it now . Was insulating the shed with kingspan and had most delivered but needed 2 extra sheets so popped down to wickes and threw them onto my roof rack along with a sheet of ply . Strapped everything down, forgot about the leading edge and drove...

Chicken/Egg situation. Need a workbench to make a workbench

I am sure we have all come across this countless times. The item you are building is needed before you can actually build the thing you need. I will post up pictures of the workshop eventually but this was pretty much the first large item I had to build as frankly my other "benches' were...

Things you don't see every day

You are correct on their introduction at Stokenchurch and now luckily they flourish. I happen to be very fortunate to live near West Wycombe (so just down the road) and when I say they are local to our garden, I mean REALLY local . They soar above our house , our garden and the field behind us...
