    child safe glue and finishes

I came across this earlier http://www.workshopheaven.com/tools/Weldbond_Universal_Adhesive_8oz.html and its says "In short, it's as safe as kids glue, but as verstile as epoxy." so I took that to mean its as safe as houses to use but I'm only reading between the lines. Could the wood be iroko...

Hi guys, Is there any difference between the above mentioned planes? The reason I ask is the price difference between Rutlands and workshop heaven? I have been looking at the Low Angle Rebating Block Plane anyone got any comments or opinions???? Thanks in advance. Matt

    25mm plywood???

I don't agree with cutting down rain forests by any means but the director of wicks does have a point, I would bet B&Q's stock will end up in landfill at least wicks' stock won't be scrapped

    Cutting boards for food industry

You are right but a glued joint will fail the first time it is put in the dishwasher. As far as I am aware (I am no means an expert on kitchen hygiene) you cant prepare the food using wooden boards but you can serve it on wooden boards e.g. cheese boards. I cant seem to find any info on the...

Draper DIY Portable Fold Down Workbench 600mm

Just take care while using, the father in law bought one and the "wooden" top very nearly had his finger off, we ended up taking a block plane to it. Also fit some timber inside the cross members otherwise they bend. But for £9 what do expect. Matt

    Compound sliding mitre saw

I have an Evolution Fury 3, its by no means a pro saw but it served me well. Added bonus it cuts through anything with the same blade. You can pick them up reasonably cheap. If you do get a compound mitre saw just be sure to make sure you set the fence to 90 to the blade before use.
