    DW733 blades and setting gauge

I bought a second hand DW733 a short while ago. The person I bought it from bought it in 2020 but hadn’t used it and it sat in his workshop for two years so was effectively brand new but not box. It clearly hadn’t been used. I’ve used it on some pine and about 8 boards of oak but the blades...

I’m looking for a compressor for a nailer and, maybe but to a much lesser extent, for spraying projects. Has anyone experience with this model on the Axminster website as it has no reviews? Thanks

Oak ledge and brace doors - t&g needed?

Yes we have a couple of 17th and 18th c doors with no braces and they’ve done ok. I made oak doors with just ledges about 18 years ago and so far no sagging but did use t&g joints (which shouldn’t impact on sagging).

    Kity 613 bandsaw help

Perhaps I wasn’t clear. There is no black rubber tyre on the top wheel. Should it have one? On the bottom wheel there appears to be something of a rubber tyre but worn but it is stuck to the wheel and won’t come off. How would I remove it, please?

    Kity 613 bandsaw help

I recently bought a Kity 613 bandsaw and replaced the blade. It seemed to be ok and I cut a piece of a small cherry log I had stored for ages and some resin seemed to come out and cover the blade. When I checked the wheels they are extremely sticky and I can’t get it off and it’s been about a...

    Workshop machinery dust covers?

Just wondered if anyone knew if anyone knows of a suppler of workshop machinery covers. I’m thinking for things like my bandsaw and table saw as the workshop gets very cold in the autumn/winter and I want to avoid rust. Mainly so I can cover them up in the evening and put them to bed!!

Thank you, I agree I don’t like the narrow boards, I was planning on three oak boards with three ledges and no braces. I have nine to make!!

Quick question about these doors, do the boards always have to be tongue and groove boards?

Gosh, I appear to have started a debate here, thanks everyone for the input. As someone who is a self taught amateur, and had gap of a few years since I had a workshop, I was of the view of David Charlesworth was using it, it was probably the done thing. I am keen to use my hand tools...
