    Edgebander Users Question

    My current edgebander is giving up, so i'm looking for a new one. Looking at something like a Virutex EB35. Has anyone used one or got any other suggestions? I've never been that keen on Axminster, but they do one at about the same price point (£7000 ish) with additional buffing unit. Any help...

    Lightweight mdf isn't a huge difference in weight. Once hung 25mm normal will be fine.

    blum do unsprung hinges, no need to modify them. the blumotion ones can have the soft close turned off. blum website will tell you more. all kinds of opening angles available

    just had a look at it on the bay. for that money I think you could do better. look at the fence on it. although he does say it has a 10 foot blade which could be handy!

    making a vacuum setup has been on my to-do list for ages. looking on e-bay there are several vacuum pumps on there, are there certain specifications that are needed? or would any of them do the job?
