    I started falling out of love with it when it went to sky, and diresta not having a sponsor friendly face and having to go last year was the final straw. I've promised myself not to watch it this year even though I've watched it since being a kid and love seeing the best of the best.

    ply sounds like future trouble to me, if you cut the join of timber well, wouldn't that be as invisible as the 3 joints on the made up ply?

    £180 sounds very very good, most people in London won't get out of bed for £180. if the job is done well. either that or a nice lace doily overhanging the edge.

    I've just put in a rotary phase converter from transwave which is brilliant. Depends how many machines you want to run and what size and obviously your budget. A bit more info will probably get a better reply. Nathan

    Which screws?

    reiser are good, I've only found them expensive though spax are my screw of choice, I've never found any problems with them. I personally prefer to spend the money and not have to mess around with broken screws every so often. when I see a good deal I try to stock up.

    Putting posts in the ground

    If you really want to use something cement based use postcrete, it's sooo easy, but where I can I just compact the earth around the post, which allows water to drain away, and is obviously greener and cheaper
