I'm pretty sure I could just work out some dimensions and get cracking - it was more of an interest thing to see how people would secure the joints and things. I already have a rough design, combining features of a few different arbors, but have struggled with how I'm going to secure the joints...

Yeah, I realise that. I just can't decide between something like the Bosch (CS with guide rail @ £140) or a plunge saw system (DW @ £320, Festool @ £380).

With the Triton saw as well it's very easy. I'm not sure about other saws as I never used any in the workcentre - according to the manual it works just the same though - you turn four knobs half a turn and out it comes. Takes seconds and goes back in exactly the same place.

Although, and I'm surprised Wizer didnt mention it, there is always the Triton workcentre (which is under £200 I believe as you have a CS already and you may get an Ebay bargain at £100). Its portable, accurate (providing its setup properly), folds down reasonably small and would do everything...

Unfortunately I also had to sell my Triton due to a lack of space but I'll echo what others have said - great bit of kit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a portable/space saving saw bench.

I was wondering if anybody knows if such a thing is made? Similar to the ones you can buy to fit a drill? It would seem the more obvious tool to convert given that it is already table mounted but I've not had much luck searching for it (on here and Google).
