    No Fault Evictions

How is providing a service that people want, that helps them, living of their backs?

    No Fault Evictions

You are correct, I've had a few of those over the years, not of late though

    No Fault Evictions

45-50% of BTL landlords in the UK own just 1 rental property, a further 20-25% own 2, and a further 10-15% 3. So at least 75% of landlords have less than 3 rental properties. Net yields on capital employed are probably <5%, capital growth adding to this over time. Is it unreasonable for a person...

    Why isn't this enforced?

    No Fault Evictions

What controls and regulations need to be put in place that are not in place? Who is going to manage the private rental sector, as councils can not, even though it is easily a self financing activity? How are councils and NFP housing associations going to up their game to provide a decent...

    No Fault Evictions

I compartmentalise my tenants into the following - (1) men who have left the family home due to relationship breakdown and are in need of temporary accommodation (2) young couples who want to try living together before making the commitment to buy somewhere together (3) temporary residents...

What wood would and what wood wouldn't make your preferred species to work with.

Tulip wood, is a favourite of a college local to me, that and Ash. Whilst cost is a driving factor, one of the tutors stated that it was good for students to learn with.

What wood would and what wood wouldn't make your preferred species to work with.

As fellow woodworking enthusiasts, I'm curious to tap into the collective wisdom of this community: which specific wood species have you found to be the most challenging or downright unpleasant to work with? Whether it's due to an unforgiving grain pattern, unexpected hardness, or any other...

    Organisation and workflow

Some interesting perspectives. I am at the beginning of my woodwork journey (aged54), apart from my O Level back in 86. As a teen, I had youthful enthusiasm, optimism, ignorance and a whole load of testosterone. It didn't matter what the world threw at me, I went out fighting everyday. And I...

Mastering locking miter router bit use

Armed with my Trend locking mitre router bit, I embarked upon the task of joining four pieces of Iroko to form the sides of a box this afternoon. I like mitres, but find them a little finnicky to.glueup. The locking mitre solution looks a good one, but positioning the bit and fence is a very...
