    Many, many years ago, I worked at a Metal Polishers. They used to re-coat their felt bobs with abrasives using an adhesive, after application of which, they would roll the bob in the abrasive, then place the coated bob in a domestic oven to dry. Perhaps a visit to an industrial platers or metal...

    Advice on material used for box gutter

    Plygene. E-mail them a diagram of the cross section with dimensions, wait a couple of days for it to arrive, then fit it. Don't bother with rubber on the ply( or timber ). I and a friend fitted one of about 70 feet long in about 1 1/2 hours, with 2 downpipes.

    If your saw is of the type that may be fitted with a fore handle, should it not be sharpened so that it cuts on the pull stroke when used single handed?

    Try pooping a few screws into the plasterboard to pull it back to the stud-work. I suspect that you mean "popping".

    +1 These are the answer. Any hinge with only one pivot MUST protrude above the surface at the join, or it won't open.
