    What tree is this

To be even fairer, the app is quick to download and use, takes little effort, is free and no matter how good you are at searching, I doubt you could match its speed and accuracy. The RHS app is just as good but it's not free, past its trial period.

    What tree is this

For future reference, there is an app ,which you can get for free, that identifies plants pretty accurately. It's called Plantnet. You take a picture of the leaves or flowers and the app finds a match.

    Exploding Pagers - Lebanon

The tension in the Middle East ramps up. The Israeli settlers have, with government support, been land-grabbing and killing off those who complain. Hamas, a declared terrorist organisation by the West, has grown, and seen the need to, not only defend themselves, but to take on the might of Israel...

    Exploding Pagers - Lebanon

In your world, perhaps, I suppose morals are clear cut, but in the Middle East morals are defined by religion and/or the need to exist. When you believe that God is on your side, there is nothing you can't do, and that changes a person's moral compass somewhat.

    No Fault Evictions

I often wonder what the UK would be like today if the pandemic, and the recession, hadn't happened. Would we have managed to strike more and better trade deals? Would EU have gotten over its bitterness and looked at more trade deals? Personally, I don't think the EU has recovered enough from the...

    No Fault Evictions

They do need us or, more precisely our financial contributions. The EU wants control to be from the mainland only. The UK would always have been a welcome income.

    No Fault Evictions

That, again, is just an optiion, Jacob, based on what newspaper suits your views. I have better hopes for the future and I see my shares doing well again which has some bearing on my optimisim.

    No Fault Evictions

A little pessimistic, perhaps. To be honest, if you look back over the last 70 years, we done very well and all I see is a better future than the past. My life is in its final stages but I'm confident that my offspring, and their offspring, will find life worth the effort. Because that's all it...

    No Fault Evictions

The Guardian...again. So blatant with the bias journalism, Jacob. Brexit, prior to the pandemic, was unfortunate in that it diverted the governments away from the issues, the markets closed down, travel was stopped. Not a good moment for sorting out the Brexit deals etc., andit was always...

    No Fault Evictions

As Labour moves towards the centre and the Tories less right, will we notice any difference?

    No Fault Evictions

It's certainly true for those wanting the 'extras' like foreign travel, Sky, smart phones, clothes with designer labels all etc.

And the new southern European countries are beneficiaries of the EU fund rather than contributors. We got out in time, it seems.

    No Fault Evictions

Too expensive to rejoin the EU. They would see that as a climb-dowm and make the most if, using the UK as an example to other EU members with ideas of moving on. We will be better off out. It might have been happening sooner had it not been for the pandemic. The EU, too, is changing, with less...

    No. It's quite common.

    No Fault Evictions

You were going to delete the post? Why? If the post had been a reference to lorry drivers, plumbers or road sweepers, would the reaction have been the same? Why is the medical profession so special? We all try to hold the NHS in esteem, but it is a growing money pit and is not the edifice it...

    No Fault Evictions

No, Jacob. Nurses do what nurses do, and are paid to do. However, there is a lot of hype, about how hard they work. They work their hours, and sometimes with overtime. Hospital doctors or GPs, Jacob? I'm not sure you made that clear. But at hospitals, doctors do their jobs, mostly, and get the...

    No Fault Evictions

My opinion is based, soundly, on observations. I stand by them. I'm sorry you're offended by it by I'm not responsible for your feelings.

    No Fault Evictions

We have, and nurses are a poor example shrouded in emotional claptrap. I have visited hospital on many occasions and the first thing I always notice is how relaxed they are. How slow they are and how quickly they like to be out of the ward. I also how a lot of the nurses (of the 'many genders')...

    No Fault Evictions

I wouldn't call myself right wing but I would say that the harder someone works, the better the rewards, unlike your chosen philosophy, perhaps? Relative poverty is a symptom of 'have nots' wanting what the 'haves' have without the effort.
