Hi all we're doing some work in the garden, I'm putting a boarder between the grass and a flower bed. I've picked up some fresh sawn untreated 4x2 doug fir for the job For fence posts I'd normally burn and mineral oil them but I don't want that look can anyone recommend a good treatment ?

Have you thought about using your router and a jig/sled

I was thinking about this the other day, I'm a novice woodworker. I was wondering what side of the table saw you should stand ? I figured to the right so the fence is in-between me and the blade but being right handed that doesn't give me much control over the wood
