    Joke Thread 5

This was posted by my two-year-old great-niece's mother. Not really a joke but I thought it might bring a smile to your face if you interview some of the toddlers in your families with these questions. CHILD INTERVIEW** Ask your child these questions and write the exact response! What’s your...

    Stock too thin for hinges

I wonder if you could get barrel hinges to fit. The brass ones I have are 14mm and the plastic ones are 12mm.

    Tissue for lathe work

I'm in with the old cut-up shirts, sheets, etc. Paper towel for CA glue finish. The only way I can think of your fingers being dragged in is if the rag is wrapped around the fingers in the first place. The cloth should be supported from underneath by your hand/fingers. If it catches, and it...

    Charity Shop finds.

Today's car boot bargains. £2 for the small glue pot and spokeshave. £4 for the imperial hole punch set. They are now soaking in vinegar. The Badger airbrush was a previous bargain a month back. The whole boxed kit was £15 knocked down from £20.

Anyone got a mcallister mitre saw stand

Show us a picture. It sounds like one of us with a 3D printer might help.

Wanted Stanley Bailey 5 1/2 Rear Handle Base Screw Wanted (Dead or Alive)

I have the Stanley tap and die set. Think I might start a little side-line. The screw thread is 7/32 the same as the threaded rod in the handle and knob.
