    Glue trouble

I use soudal pro45p, which I stumbled upon when looking for a cheaper alternative to gorilla foaming adhesive Amazon.co.uk there seems to be a general idea that the foam (in U foaming glues in general) is great for filling in gaps in the glue up, not the case, if it is foaming it is filled with...

    Your opinion about logos.

I agree with others logo yes, sticker no. Would look nice acid etched / embossed, it is just a question of whether the cost of adding a logo is justified in the price

    who are the most reliable

also different items in the same brand are of differing quality, especially the lower priced brands (see the massively differing views on parkside tools) which are rebadged from other brands.

    Micro Reciprocating Saw

looking at amazon there are a few other brands that offer small recip saws, dewalt and bosch, not particuarly sure what the benifit of these over the full size saws is

As they are made of chedder, and essentially not designed for use as a screwdriver, you have to wonder why they don't just have a tapered tip, like the probe on a multimeter

    Screwfix vouchers

so, after you've got your vouchers (better than a kick in the teeth but not nessacerily all that useful as you have spend them £10 a time), what is the benefit of the trade account then? Or is it purely in practical terms of not having to pay for things in dribs and drabs? As for what to spend...

    Free vitamin D

I notice boots isn't on that list, can't get over their prices, about 5 times the price of supermarket own brand stuff

    Free vitamin D

possibly, but a bulk buy order of millions like that should by rights cost a fraction of market price

    Free vitamin D

I'm shielding, requested the free vit d that was offered by the govt, haven't heard any more, I think I was expecting it in January, wondering at the time why they were going to send it at the END of winter. As said elsewhere, they cost pennies, and I now have a supply of one a day, bought...

    Clamping non right angled surfaces

an angled corner clamp, along with a caul along the join as you suggested would no doubt work. I think there are stronger (and more complicated) ways of creating the joint (eg sliding dovetails), but for the scale and weight you suggested that angled butt joint with clamping should be fine IMHO

    Light Silicone Spray

i wonder if PTFE is any better on wood?

    Parkside compressor - a lemon?

take it back, swap for another if they have one in stock. I wouldn't waste any time trying to troubleshoot or fix a brand new item.

    Look what I picked up

There are some incredible items that come up on freecycle / gumtree / facebook for free. I genuinely think you could furnish a house well in about a month if you had a van and a bit of free time. As we speak I'm watching a 42" flatscreen telly that was passed on through freelywheely 'because...

    Wood mallet

I was given a load of 18mm ply scraps a while ago, just for the hell of it I made a few mallets from it, obviously ply is not ideal for an edge on impact, that said they cost me nothing and have had a good bit of use. My favourite of the ones I made had a short handle and a heavy curved head...

Track saw. Do I need one?

I think baring in mind you have a table saw, you would possibly just use it for taking boards down to dimensions you can handle on your tablesaw. You could probably do that with a straight edge and a circular saw, or even just a handsaw.
