Why are Sip table saws expensive?

That makes sense. I googled images of the 805 and quickly concluded that the top one wasn't right. Didn't look any further.

    US Election November 5th

One thing I find rather amusing is that people are always bemoaning the fact that politicians lie, are evasive etc etc. Yet when Boris, and to an extent Lammy make what are on the face of it perfectly reasonable assesments of Trump, and or some of his policies we howl that they shouldn't have...

Why are Sip table saws expensive?

And that is the problem isn't it, I wouldn't have a clue. I suppose look at it on Screwfix or somewhere, that hopefully isn't going to be selling snide ones, and see which one looks like the real thing? Looking at images on Google I'm going to take a punt that the bottom one is the real deal...

    Flooring options for existing workshop

Only ever used the rubber stable mats in their natural environment as it were. But they are as tough as old boots.

Why are Sip table saws expensive?

But they aren't the same. Look at the clutch ring, very different. Clip, no clip. Different chucks. Without knowing what sites they are from my first thought would be is the £40 one a fake?

    Smoking

I am sorry you find the debate "unnecessarily antagonistic". From my point of view I just find it really worrying that somebody might actually believe that the only thing to be concerned about in the exhaust from a modern car is it's CO content. I have spent over 40 years working on a wide...

    Smoking

Unfortunately not. The reason being that the engine is actually much more efficient than we are at using the available oxygen. So yes it will eventually stop when the oxygen level falls below that necessary to support combustion, but by that time you will be long dead.

90 degree joint for lean-to roof joist

I use these from seller eighty-twenty on e bay. They take size 8/10 screws. I much prefer using screws rather than nails especially on the clear sheets, they are quite brittle.

My most horrible food mistake so far...

I think it was Bear Grylls in one of his shows visited a Bedouin camp. They had slaughtered a goat for a feast in his honour, so there they all are sitting around and the headman shows him the raw goats testicles. The interpreter explains these are considered a great delicacy. So, not wishing...

My most horrible food mistake so far...

My wife loves pickled walnuts. Regular variety are bad enough to my mind, but pickled, ugh.

    Lichtenberg wood burning

Ignition on even quite ordinary cars now quite enough to kill you, let alone some of the stuff under the bonnet of an EV.

    Smoking

Go and put your hand over your exhaust pipe with the engine running. You will notice there is a significant pressure. Now consider some very basic physics or just plain old common sense. Take a container, doesn't matter what it is, but let's say your car. It contains air at ambient pressure...

And made in China I believe, or the earlier examples were anyway. Maybe now he will be able to get a better deal and have them made in N Korea.

    Smoking

And your gas boiler doesn't have a cat does it, so it produces ballpark 50 times as much co as your car idling. Before cats were introduced your car would be producing around 90+ times as much CO as a modern cat equipped vehicle. So the level of CO would reach lethal levels very quickly. But I...

    Smoking

I give up. You are obsessed with CO, which accounts for around 0.2% of the exhaust gas. The other 99.08% is a cocktail of gases none of which are capable of sustaining life, and you think it's the 0.2% you should be worried about ??

    US Election November 5th

When all is said and done the fact remains that when all the votes are in he will have probably about 53+ % of the votes cast. That is a significant victory. So whatever their reasons, and however incomprehsible we may find it, a clear majority of the voters wanted him as their president. That...

90 degree joint for lean-to roof joist

If they are like the ones I have used before they are surprisingly strong. I would think 450 is probably ok. Problem with the bitumen type ones is that in the summer when they get hot they become a bit softer, so apt to sag. Certainly I found that on a roof with the ridge orientated broadly east...
