Bosch GCM 12 GDL Axial-Glide Mitre Saw

Hi I've searched and searched and even contacted Makita (no reply as yet) but I can't find what the lowered/locked position height is for the Makita LS1019 (I know it's 660mm when in use). Can anyone who owns one let me know what this figure is? Cheers

    Bloody officialdom....

Good reason for us to have identity cards. One form of ID - no need for a passport or driving license etc and everyone would have one. And before anyone replies about not wanting to give up information or worries about loss of freedom and rights, just remember that people already other forms of...

Buying clear hose by the metre?

To my knowledge the listing is similar to other companies - they sell by taut length. Annoying but common practice. Like with purchasing timber I would always buy a little over the required taut length.

Do I need a two motor extractor?

Here is the setup I used with Camvac. I also have a Scheppach filter in the ceiling (same as the Record Power one). Didn't think a cyclone necessary and think it would reduce suction. Successful router dust collection with CamVac

    Speed Awareness Course

Agree with you. It makes driving safer and less stressful. Should also help reduce traffic jams.

    Speed Awareness Course

Many cars now have sign recognition which can work in conjunction with adaptive cruise control to keep the car's speed within the speed limit, as well as slow down and speed up the car to a set distance to a vehicle in front.

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

I followed this design, although modified it to include two inlets and outlets (running via the same chamber) instead of one and had sound insulation on underside of lid too: Camvac silencer There is also this method: CamVac noise reduction with a baffle tube

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

From my research and having used the CamVac with 100mm and 63mm hosing, I find it has better suction power with 63mm.

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

My understanding is that holes are needed in order for the vacuum to operate. Without them the vacuum wouldn't work as it would have no air to suck which would force the vacuum motor to work harder - like when you put your hand over the suction end of a vacuum cleaner.
