    Mini compressor - Senco 5ltr, 0.5hp

When I started out 10 years ago I had the same approach as you in regard to only wanting one for air nailer use, but soon I found myself using it for other things and regretted buying only a 6L capacity at the time because it was constantly refilling (I eventually got a 24L). I mention it as it...

Lock out drawer slides or DIY mechanism

Similar idea to what Setch posted, using a barrel bolt.

    Anybody able to cast aluminium?

Would this be a sufficient replacement for what you need (a little pricey but try making an offer)? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184952453517?hash=item2b1006798d:g:YGcAAOSwQeFg9Wym

    Lidl One Handed Clamps

A 150mm and a 915mm bundled together seems a bit of an odd combination of sizes, but anyway I'm tempted to say buy cheap buy twice although this might be clouded by my intolerance for these types of clamps. I've thrown too many of them away in the past that I just cant be bothered with them...

    Stand on castors, heavy kit?

Shame that style has gone away as they were very solid and effective, and every so often Rutlands used to do them buy one get one free.

You’d think postage would be included

And they would use My Hermes, hard pass straight away.

Anyone know who makes this Workbench Planer?

    It's definitely a SIP, model number 01455.

Wadkin 10" AGS and BAOS 12"

Nice score on both counts - congrats. I believe its only more recently that saws were made so that they tilt to the left from the operator's perspective, possibly driven by safety i.e. cut-offs don't get stuck between the blade and fence. I had one that tilted to the right, I just moved the...

    Morticer or pillar drill

At worse with a pillar drill you can bore out most of the material and then chisel the rest, you can get those mortise attachments but I don't think I've ever seen/heard anyone say anything good about them. A mortiser I suppose could work as a pillar drill but you may be limited to what bits...

    10" table saw

Bearings possibly worn, belt, maybe the motor is out of alignment with the arbor pulley because of how much the belt guard is shaking... whatever the mechanical issue(s) it needs some work doing before it can be used properly. For £175 though I would take a chance with it.

    10" table saw

The video linked in the listing doesn't exactly back up the claim of "in good working order".

    King KC10-RC table saw

I would look at replacing the motor. Even if you could get the existing one to run on the UK 240v system, at 50Hz the motor wont be as powerful/less RPM if its rated at 60Hz. If its one of those saws where the motor hangs out the back that would need a foot mount rather than a flange mount...

    B&Q Table saw

If it helps a SIP 01321 is very similar looking to the FMTC10TS, likely all comes out of the same factory.

    Axminster xcaliber router bits

I have plenty of Axcaliber bits and find them to be quite good for my needs which is only hobby use, I've not compared them to more expensive brands as I cant justify it to myself paying out a lot of money. They're definitely better quality than those cheap sets you can buy on the likes of eBay etc.

    Compressor Hose Advice

I had the Bostitch air hose kit but dumped it for the same reason you mentioned, I replaced it with a relatively cheap Clarke rubber air hose (8mm diameter version) and found it to be more than satisfactory for nailing, blowing dust out of the workshop, car tyres etc.

What's the biggest mistake you have made in your woodworking

Repeatedly buying pine timber from the likes of B&Q thinking its "good enough" to use, only to find in most cases it really isn't.

    Bargain of the day!

£75 for that?! Very impressive, as someone who's owned the Nutool version that will serve you very well.

    Parkside performance?

They're going to be selling an angle drill for £17.99 from Sunday 20th, I'm quite tempted to pick one up at that price. Parkside 12V Cordless Angle Drill - Bare Unit - at Lidl - www.lidl.co.uk
