I’ve recently acquired a bench (not a particularly good bench but ok) and it came with a very interesting vice. I’ve not seen one like this before.
It has a single leaver which when raised releases the jaw to pull it out or push it in. Pushing the leaver down then locks jaws tight onto the work...
