    This one was one of the first ones I made but it’s not as efficient as the previous one but it does heat water in 2 directions by thermo siphon and has a pizza oven above

    sometimes I found if its just surfaced hardened a buzz with a 24grit flap disc to remove the surface layer and a cobalt drill will pop through... if you are not sure how its been hardened test grind a bit and try with a high quality tungsten carbide bit /good cobalt bit and see ... otherwise...

    Tung oil Finish

    I've been experimenting with tung oil and found a mix of 1/3rd tung oil 1/3rd beeswax and 1/3rd real turpentine spirits all heated first in a pan (on electric as v combustable} gives a really nice finish on some internal oak skylight trims. just my 2c worth
