Post a photo of the last thing you made

Except for the purchased curtain rings for the noughts, this was all done by hand.

Who do you follow on YouTube?

I read a book on leadership a fair few years ago, and it mentioned that there were three phases to self expression. The first phase is where you act like a sponge, taking in all the different ways to do a thing, the tools you need, the attitude to have. The second is where you get confused...

Which woodworking YouTube channels do you watch?

Not sure it really helps, but it is actually pretty simple to set up a channel (I know because on of my friends challenged me to do it, and I accepted. Search for DrevDeVelen if you can be bothered. It's done with a cheap webcam hung from above the bench), so instead of asking what people are...

Handheld vertical drilling - Jig, press or other?

I recently bought some diamond stones from a UK retailer and had to fill in the Customs Declaration to get them cleared here. Even with the help of two native speakers it took a while to find a code that fitted. But, at least doing it yourself gets you a chance to play the system and pay the...

Their "big box stores" and ours!

I know it's not the UK, but for what its worth, a couple of years ago I built a split top bench from 40cm by 4cm by 3m planks from the local Obi. The vise was more expensive than the wood. The wood cost me about fifty quid in local currency equivalent.

    NUtool CH10 Pillar Drill spares

I have recently acquired one of these, and I am in need of the constant force spring that goes under the silver cover on the left of the tool. But I can't fine any spare part list or diagram. Has anyone had any experiencing finding / ordering one of these, or have any more easily available...
