    Foil Insulation for attic

Yes I suppose that is true a conventional pitched tiled roof is a cold roof, the whole roof space is the cold roof and therefore has to be ventilated to move damp air. putting insulation in between the roof rafters or attached to the underside of the rafters will restrict the ventilation...

    Climate change policy

Yes, you didn't want a debate based on facts, you just wanted to make silly sarcastic comments.

They aren't subsidised by 25% Green subsidy is 11% average for dual fuel but that includes grants for better insulation on homes, heat pumps etc. How much have bills gone up due to fossil fuels? A = upto around 70% Our electricity would be cheaper if its price wasn't tagged to gas power...

Your energy bills more or less doubled because the price of fossil fuel gas went up. But you think you’ve been subsidising renewables ….despite the fact solar and wind EP produced electricity are cheaper

    Spindle tooling advice

I can recommend somebody who can do 55mm Euro or whitehill cutters profile ground with limiters for around £75 incl vat delivered.

    Climate change policy

electricity from renewable energy is cheaper than from fossil fuels and renewable energy is not subject to global oil markets, Puting, OPEC etc its ironic how brexit supporters believe in self determination, but are against building an energy supply that is with in our control

Tony here is something for you to think about this is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry...

    Spindle tooling advice

That’s interesting, I looked at the Whitehill link, but it doesn’t say anything about the cutter spec. The annoying thing about Euroblocks universal profile blocks is whilst they have the same pin dimensions and centres, different blocks take different thickness cutters and some cutters you...

    Spindle tooling advice

It doesn’t look like it will take conventional Euro cutters, although it doesn’t specify. My guess is it is designed to take the whitehill scribe cutters that fit in their tenon blocks

if it easy to find, then why havent you found it and provided it? you claimed that left and right are just as involved in taking fossil fuel donations..........but you have as yet provided zero evidence to support that I have and I provided you with the proof but you didnt like it, so you...

It shouldnt be a Labour versus Tory argument -it should be debate on the merits of renewable energy actually Conservatives had quite ambitious targets and carbon emissions came down a lot whilst they were in power both Conservatives and Labour want to get to carbon neutral, its the right wing...

what makes you think we all have to suffer? there is a green technology race happening, if we arent involved we will get left behind Do you remember the recent energy crisis when our energy almost doubled in price? -was it caused it renewables or fossil fuels?
  18. R

    Cop 29

Tony if you don’t set a target, you won’t achieve it
  19. R

    Cop 29

That’s why we need to increase renewables and electricity storage. Renewables are cheaper than gas or nuclear. And the old argument about intermittency is not true, battery storage is growing exponentially
