I think the "Parkside" lathe also has no way of using a bar to knock out centres. I may be wrong though.

Stig mate, Get some clove oil from the chemist and dab some on the tooth. Tastes awful but will get rid of the pain. Take note that it will not mean the problem has gone away and you will still need treatment. Gary
