Not exactly off topic, slot together shed/cabin repairs

Could you not find the joists at the front ( and presuming that the shed is attached to the joists ? ) lift at each of the joists with a small airbag , ( when they are all lifted ) add a paving slab or two under each joist at the front ( the "down" end of the slope ) to bring it all back to...

    Joinery software

I somehow don't think that the even the paid version of sketch up is going to calculate U values. ;) If you want free 3D software ..Blender..it might do cutting lists ( I'd have to ask my son about that , he's a Blender "guru" ) probably not though, he could probably write a plugin to do cutting...

How do they get away with this?

Do you want to buy 2 cubic metres of French Oak ? ..I can do you some at cheaper than UK prices..but I think ( in fact I'm certain due to brexit etc ) that the delivery charges would be more than the oak. ;-) If the forecast thunderstorms don't start in the next hour , I'll be cutting green oak...

What can go on top of creosote to mask the smell?

A drop ( literally ) of EtSH anywhere within a few hundred metres and no-one will notice the creosote. or..buy a small bottle of menthol or even patchouli and spill it on the deck boards. Grass ( lawn ) cuttings also smell strongly.

How do they get away with this?

No..it is a tracking platform that drops cookies , scripts and "everlasting cookies" ( which will persist even after a hard drive format..and allow facebook and those who pay them, to track everything you do, have ever done, or will ever do on line in order to influence you what to buy...

How do they get away with this?

obvious scams on facebook. I created an account ( basically a "defensive account" to protect against anyone using my business name ) back in the days ( many years ago, not long after facebook became available outside' of the USA ) when only one account could use any particular name . I posted...

    Plywood and paint!

Poplar ply ( mostly from China PRC ) is also what is mostly available ATM, and is a reasonable price. Actually it is about the price that birch ply was a couple of years ago prior to Russia invading the Ukraine.Whereas Birch ply is since that ongoing event harder to get ATM, and is expensive...

    Removing mould from veneer

If you can get it where you are ? Give it a wipe over with some kitchen towel or old cotton cloth dampened with Sanytol. Lidl also do a "baufix" anti mould which has a similar active ingredient. Lysol should also work.

    Warped planks/table top project advice

"bolt them together", means he did what precisely to the pieces of wood ? plus what thetyreman said..the wood needs to be acclimatised to where it is going to live, but whether that acclimatisation should be done as separate pieces ( probably ) and then assembled into a table top and made level...
