    Anything that offends left wing sensibilities is funny to me. We lived through years of the Tories being fair game (and quite rightly) and that was considered fine. If we removed every post because someone didn't consider it funny there wouldn't be anything left.

    I had a breadmaker - I forget the make - and found it best to do the same, take the dough out and put it on a sheaf or in a tin. When it went wrong I thought hold on I'd just as well get a stand mixer with a dough hook.

    Many people use very slightly cambered blades to avoid the edges digging in and leaving tram lines, others just round the corners very slightly.

    One of my neighbours has resisted a smartmeter - she has an old meter which goes backwards when the sun shines.:) I haven't seen a meter reader in ten years.

    A 7" arc would give you a scrub plane, and quite a vicious one at that.

    It doesn't work well when one part is above ground, it works only when permanently wet. It'll rot at ground level.
