Hi Sunnybob. Thanks for the reply. I had another look and the door panel is sloping as you can see from the photo I have added. There is a gap near the hinge but its dragging against the wood opposite the hinge.

Will this strip or just clean? Ive also read that Danish oil should only be used if sanding down a piece and not for maintenance. Is that true?
