Thanks for the info J-G, makes sense. Some additional info; The lathe is Sealey SL-100. I understand it’s long been discontinued and way back when, it was probably a bit a bit naff then! Sealey themselves tell me it’s a 3/4 x 16 thread but as I say, no joy with the adapter I have. thanks Paul

Afternoon all, Could any one identify the thread type on my lathe. It’s a recent acquisition, manufacturer tells me it’s 3/4 x 16. Having bought a thread adapter of said size it most certainly isn’t correct. Any help appreciated. thanks Paul

Evening all, Newbie here. I have acquired my first lathe and it came with what looks like a jawless chuck. I don’t know if I’m asking the impossible but I’m hoping someone might be able to identify it in order for me to get my hands on the missing bits. Thanks in advance Paul
