hi I personally use flying Dutchman blades especially the spiral ones - they take a bit of getting used to - and do a lot of internal cutting , I did watch a lot of Charles dearing videos he uses nothing else but spiral blades, the only thing about spirals it you cannot get a real good pointed...

hi when I got my axi I stated to put the blade in the top clamp and fed the blade down through the hole and it is a lot easier for my old arthritic hands that way. take care John

hi again been in touch with axminster and there is a grub screw with a lock nut on the side near the back , mine is on the left as you look down the arm , undo nut and wind screw in dose not take much and tighten nut job done. take care John
