    Hi Steve I just measured it with a rule, the cut was rough but not overly rough. Look at the picture of the walnut bookmatch, I am lucky to own a thickness sander and I sanded the rough side smooth or it could be scraped after gluing down. Ian

    Glue for long assembley time?
