Draper 200mm Cast Iron Table saw £200 ?!?!

Well, shelved the Dewalt 745 and went for this! Now that others have confirmed delivery, and also the quality for the price I couldn't resist it, especially when the set up could cost around or over the £500+ mark. Just hope I don't live to regret it, especially with it's size, and hope you...

    Lidl Sander

Hi, Hi, Could I ask your opinions on the Lidl sander that's coming up for sale this Sunday. Do you think it would be and good for mid/heavy use? It's only a 125mm disc so I'm assuming it's not, however what I was also thinking that as you can stand it upright and clamp it to a bench...

    Cheapo palm router

Just took the plunge aswell (no pun intended) Thought for 30 quid delivered it's worth a go as I don't think I can justify the price of a more expensive one as I just dabble here and there so I don't think it well get used that often, could be useful tool though. Regards Phil

    How to mark accurate mitres?

Hi, I'm after some advice on how to mark up some mitres on a picture frame deck. I'm not that skilled so I'm hoping it's quite simple. It's a normal 3 x 2 metre deck, however I have had to cut the frame around a few obstacles, a wall pillar and drain and it's now ready for the boards. How...

    Cutting Advice Please

Hi, I have a room to put some dado up and was wondering how best to cut the mitres to avoid splintering and achieving a nice clean cut and no tear out. I have a sliding mitre saw and a reasonably fine blade. Would it be best to lie the dado flat on the bed of the saw or stand it upright...
