Post a photo of the last thing you made

got a new tablesaw , the saw itself is powerful and quiet, but the supplied fence is crap, after trying to tweak it for several hours ive decided its just not up to the job, it wont keep square and shifts considerably when you lock it, axminsters fence extrusion is a ridiculous profile and why...

    Any Festool owners?

just got the kapex this week, its a thingof beauty alright, i got it because of its small footprint especially when folded for storage, i dont want to risk leaving it outside in an unheated workshop so like most of my tools it lives in a spare room between uses, its accurate right out of the box...

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

that sounds great, i cheaped out on a triton for my table but got an incra plate and the clean sweep inserts, just laminated some birch ply for the top, seems a crime to cut a hole in it now considering what it cost! i will also use a camvac for dust collection and build a box around the...

    CNC Software

i feel your pain, maybe im psychic but when i set my cnc up i hung some plexiglass between the pc and machine, cutting oak one day a piece 3 inches round detached and was flung with a huge bang straight through 8mm plexi, made me jump, but the pc was unharmed

    CNC Software

i went with v carve and dont regret it, other people familiar with fusion 360 tell me they prefer that, i think each has its own strengths and weaknesses, as others have suggested try downloading trial copies of software and experiment.
