    Screws not supporting brackets

Make sure your holes are plenty deep enough, then hammer in brown plugs then use a good fat screw such as a 5mm into them

A cheap place to get my dewalt combi drill chuck wobble fixed? (london)

No that doesn't sound like the chuck it sounds like the bearings in the drill are knackered. Only way to fix it without paying a lot is to do it yourself

Colleague smashed top of my Festool CT Mini

I've broken those tops bits off both my festool vacs, everytime I use them I think about making a wooden top part for them to store the hose and cables properly but I never quite get around to it. One day I'll have a go

Bifold Door Installation - Fully finished Vs In-Situ Build

I would get the frame in place, use folding wedges and screws to hold it, then lastly foam. Foam won't tend to push the frame out of place along as it has somewhere open to go (the gap that the architrave will cover). I don't know what framing foam is but I've used normal expanding or fire foam...

Bifold Door Installation - Fully finished Vs In-Situ Build

I would do it the second way you have suggested, but I wouldn't worry too much about bracing it, a couple across the corners will do, just make sure you check and double check everything with a spirit level as you install it and it'll be fine. I would get someone to give you a hand for half hour...

Can you beat this for quality?

I bought a paint roller set for a quid once from a cheap discount shop, the inside of the roller was made from cardboard so as soon as it got wet from the paint it literally fell apart.

    Guide rail help

Sorry I can't help on what rails will fit but couldn't you just make a guide rail out of some ply?

Pocket hole screws are too large for 15mm ply?

What length screws are you using? Obviously you know you use different size screws with different thickness wood? https://learn.kregtool.com/learn/how-to-select-right-pocket-hole-screw/ Looking at this you need 1" or possibly 3/4" screws

Sash seals - on the sash rails not the frame

Thats how you have to do it, it wouldn't work otherwise, unless you have double sided parting beads

Sash seals - on the sash rails not the frame

I don't see what's wrong with having seals on the parting and staff beads personally, you hardly notice them if they're fitted right. Also it seems like a lot of messing about with the sash especially if you have to plane it down to fit, and end up having to re-router the groove deeper. I agree...

    Reciprocating Saw Advice

I have the other bosch 18v one and have to say it's been a cracking bit of kit. It's had some right hammer by me, removing joists, old cast iron pipes etc on an almost daily basis for the last couple of years and it's been great. I use it a lot more than I did my corded one just because it's...

Advice needed with a routing problem

Featherboards and you are feeding it the right way aren't you? You're not feeding the wood in between the fence and the cutter are you? Can't you make the mouldings on a wider board and then cut it off? It's hard to understand what you're doing without pictures

    My mate Billy

Do it, have you considered getting one from a boxer rescue center? I've got a 2 and a bit year old boxer called Bruce, had him from a puppy not from a rescue center though. He's my best mate and never fails to make me happy. He even comes to work with me.
