2nd fix nail gun advice (non-compressor)

My bostitch brad nailer (gas) is crap, really really annoying, it'll work perfectly half the time then the other half i spend ******* about with it, nail jams, not firing stuff like that. I wouldn't reccomend it. My old ryobi air strike was a lot more reliable, until it got stolen on site! I'm...

The screed will be laid on a plastic dpm such as visqueen wont it? Just lnock the bricks out. Fill the gaps between the joists with some timber noggins, slate over the cavity and then visqueen over the top? Or am I missing something?

How to fix a dodgy built in cabinet?

Try and square it up best you can, then fix some architrave all the way around it. You could use some flat beading as architrave if you wanted to. First though I would be getting the bathroom company in to pay for and sort all their **** ups.

    Kitchen Hinge Jig

There's plenty of cheap 35mm cutter about that'll do the job fine. And for that many doors I would just make a simple jig out of some scrap wood. It's easy to guess the depth so you only really need the jig to center the cutter. I've done quite a few in the past just by marking the center on...

    Broken Vertical Soil pipe collar

If they're using a pan connector then the plumbers are fine to do what they have done, aslong as the rest of the pipe is fine then the pan connector just pushes inside anyway. The collar does nothing when used in this way. I would have cut it off with a grinder though.

    rider 311 clone

Try getting parts from axminster, they wanted £5 odd for a single screw when the one on my rider plane stripped it's threads, I managed to buy a pack of 10 exactly the same for a quid from the local discount shop. Ridiculous.

    Finding a square framing square...

All the last three I've bought from different places have been fine, think my aluminium one is Fischer and that's decent. I've got no need for it to be absolutely bang on because it's a framing square but then I've never noticed them being out either.

    Bluetooth tools whatever next!

They should start putting trackers on tools, much more useful than Bluetooth with the amount that get stolen nowadays. Might also be handy with the amount of times I forget where I leave the blinking things too

    Is it 3m2 or 3m x 3m so 9m2?

Do I need a plunge saw AND a circular saw?

I've got both, very very rarely do I use the circular saw, and then it's mostly used for cutting floorboards. It's probably worth selling the makita on, then if you ever find yourself needing one just get a cheapy circular saw.

    How would you do this?

I bet you could do the slot on a sliding mitre saw with some kind of jig and a trenching stop. Worth a try before you pay someone else to make them. Do you sell them?

Window to small for opening any idea's

Sounds like the window was mismeasured by 100mm, a very easy mistake to make. When I make measuring mistakes it's normally by 100mm.
