    Compressor..why empty every day?

Is it absolutely necessary to empty the compressor at the end of the day?....I understand the buildup of water vapour... ..it seems a shame to waste the air thats left after only using brad nailer occasionally! Your thoughts please. Gerry

Who's got the quietest compressor? (currently available)

Yes absolutely!...second time it's happened, same fault..Machine Mart repaired it, new switch box, cost about £45ish. ...happy with new one, oil-less, bigger capacity super quiet and on wheels!!

Arc or Mig welding, very confusing!

Hi Aidan...I want to alter the size of a metal garden gate plus various smaller jobs! Generally I use nuts n bolts when joining metals and have wanted a welder for some time, just not sure which type would suit. Tried the Arc type long time ago... didn't take to it... the Mig looks like it...

Clarke Shhh 2/9 air compressor won't start!

Thanks for your reply Sunnybob...I should have said the motor does not start at all, the only activity is from under the switch box, ie. air hissing out from that area along with a slight oily leakage...just enough to wet the tip of my finger...

Clarke Shhh 2/9 air compressor won't start!

It's been stored unused since its last service and now all that happens on start up is air is escaping from underneath the switch box! Also there is some oil leakage around the flange nut in the same area. Any help would be appreciated! Gerry
