    Spare hex screws for chuck

    I've managed to lose one of the screws from my CL2000 chuck, and looking to replace (and get spares!) and while £9 seems ok for a set, the postage of £7 is ridiculous. Anyone suggest alternative sources than Record or Axminster pls? Surely these are standard hex screws? Thanks

    Hey, yes, have changed previously. Have tried tapping ... but it really is jammed. Tried a fine blade tapping from the top, then the bottom .. .nothing :(

    Hi there. I have a Bosch PHO16-82 plane and cannot remove the blade; it is jammed. I have tried WD40 and white spirit to loosen it but no job. Any suggestions pls? Thanks in advance

    Very Small Wood Lathe Recommendation

    I started on a Clarke 13" (Clarke CWL325V 13" Wood Lathe with Electronic Variable Speed - Machine Mart - Machine Mart) and would highly recommend it. However, 2 years on I have just bought a (2nd hand) CL3 which is fab. The Clarke will take sizeable pieces. Happy Lathing

    Lathes shorting electricity

    Morning all Still awaiting the arrival of the electrician but yes, re connected the earth wires and the issue has been resolved by putting the lathe on its own circuit breaker ... seems to be fine now. Am wearing rubber soled boots ... just in case. Really appreciate everyone's input into this...

    So, have disconnected the earth on my Clarke lathe, runs fine without it. As soon as I reconnect it trips everything. Help
